Following completion of the service there was some confusion about the date of the next service necessitating a telephone call to be made. I felt that this anomaly could have been mentioned when the vehicle was collected.

When I told the service centre about this on the 9th of October it was suggested that the car was collected on the 15th for them to check the problem. I was not happy for the car to sit for eight days with a wet footwell.

Following the service, I made a journey of 150 miles whereupon brake warning lights appeared. BMW Emergency Service (excellent) found that the brake fluid was leaking and the reservoir virtually empty due to poor workmanship during the service.
